SDG Korea Initiative unites researchers, students, and citizens to study and communicate the forces shaping our century—climate, inequality, governance, culture, health, ethics, and technology.

Students see real problems and know that joining a club is not enough. They want action, and they want change they can measure. Awareness becomes the first step toward that change.

SDG Korea/Jeju provides a student-run source portal built to educate other students in Korea and beyond. Research is translated, interpreted, evaluated, examined, and reviewed by students and professors from around the world. The goal is simple: expand understanding beyond school subjects and give young people the knowledge to act.

SDG Korea Initiative는 연구자, 학생, 시민이 함께 참여하여 기후, 불평등, 거버넌스, 문화, 건강, 윤리, 기술 등 우리 시대를 움직이는 핵심 요소를 연구하고 널리 알리는 플랫폼입니다.

학생들은 현실의 문제를 직접 보고 느낍니다. 단순히 동아리에 가입하는 것만으로는 변화를 만들기 어렵다는 사실도 잘 알고 있습니다. 학생들이 바라는 것은 실제 행동이며, 눈에 보이는 변화입니다. 그런 변화를 일으키기 위해서는 정확한 인식이 첫걸음이 됩니다.

SDG Korea/Jeju는 학생들이 운영하는 지식 포털로, 한국과 전 세계의 학생들에게 정보를 전달하기 위해 만들어졌습니다. 전 세계의 연구를 학생과 교수들이 함께 번역하고 해석하며 검토하는 과정을 통해, 복잡한 내용을 학생들이 이해하고 활용할 수 있는 지식으로 재구성합니다. 목표는 분명합니다. 학교 수업을 넘어선 폭넓은 이해를 제공하고, 청소년들이 행동할 수 있는 지적 기반을 마련하는 것입니다.
